Reiko Kumada is the teenage daughter of a member of the staff at the Embassy of Japan in the United States in Washington, D.C. She attends Saint Ursula's, a private all-girls high school in Bethesda, Maryland. An ardent anime and manga fan, she is working on a manga story of her own in her spare time.
Description: Just over five feet tall and slender, Reiko has an almost elfin face with delicate features, long black hair, and soulful brown eyes. She is a bit embarrassed about her small bosom, especially given what she knows about Occidental standards of beauty. In school, she wears her uniform; on her own time, she prefers clothing in delicate, pastel hues. She nearly always has a manga or a notebook filled with sketches and plot ideas with her.
